Romper: Retro Paradise
Mesh Top: SheIn
Boots: Public Desire
Hey everyone.. top o' the week to you! I *finally* have a new look posted for the blog.. feels good. :)
Since I wasn't able to post any looks for the holidays, (because I was so incredibly busy and frazzled and didn't have a moment to breathe), I decided to share with you a look I wore at Christmas now that I finally have the time. Better late than never?
I realize that daisies are a more Spring and Summer type deal, but I love this romper so much that I tend to wear it all year round. And since when am I one to conform to "fashion" rules anyway?
To give the look a more Christmassy and Wintry touch, I paired the romper with sparkly tights (I layered another pair of opaque tights underneath for warmth), tall boots, a long sleeve black mesh top, velvet choker, and my wide brimmed fedora. I think the mix of everything together helped ease the femininity of the daisy print by giving the look a more chic and polished edge.
What about you guys? Are there any fashion rules that you ignore when it comes to your personal style? I started this blog as a platform for encouragement to those who tend to break the rules and do whatever they want when it comes to dressing for themselves. This means if I want to wear a floral print in the middle of Winter, white after Labor Day, or black in the dead heat of Summer,
I absolutely will.
There are no limits. :)
I hope everyone has a wonderful week! The blog should be picking back up again for awhile now that the holidays are behind us. Thanks for sticking with me, and as always, thank you so much for reading.
Love to you all. =^.^=
