Daisies & Docs.

Blouse: Forever 21
Shorts: Thrifted
Purse: Vintage
Boots: Dr. Martens

Hello everyone!  I hope the start of the week is treating you well.  I am actually writing this post super late/very early in the morning, so I apologize if my entry is somewhat short today.

I decided to shoot another Spring outfit for the blog because the weather has, as usual, been insanely beautiful.  I have been waiting for the occasion to wear my daisy print shorts again, and today was the perfect opportunity.  If you have been following my blog since the beginning, I actually wore these shorts with my docs in my very first entry.  I have come a very long way since then, as my first post was shot in my bedroom using the camera on my computer!  Haha.  It's actually kind of fun to go back and look at older posts to see my progress and how much I've grown and improved as a blogger.  It's encouraging because it shows that I am constantly changing and evolving through not only my style and writing, but my strength of character and sense of self.  Do any of you ever like to take a peek back into your older blog posts and photos to see how you've changed?  I think it's so interesting!

The outfit here is kind of simple and typical of my style, and the only newer item I am wearing is the blouse, which I snatched up at Forever 21 a few weeks ago.  You can never have too many black tops, and this one is perfect because the pattern and texture of it will allow for countless options in styling with various pieces.  I wanted to wear my docs again because I haven't worn them on the blog in quite awhile, and honestly they are my favorite boots of all time.  I've had this pair since I was 15 (we won't get into how long ago that was haha) and they have remained a tried and true statement piece in my wardrobe since day one.  You can never go wrong with a pair of Dr. Martens.  Never.  And of course what would be a better shoe than docs to wear with an adorable pair of daisy print shorts?  Nothing else compares. :)

And that wraps it up for today.  I guess it wasn't such a short post after all.  I had a feeling.. whenever I say it's going to be a quick one, it inevitably ends up being quite the opposite haha.

Thanks so much for reading, guys. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Love to you all. =^.^=
