Hello everyone. As you can tell, it was another grey, gloomy summer day here in Oakland, but I wasn't about to let the chilly, windy weather prevent me from shooting another post, as it has already been a couple of weeks since my last entry!
It is festival season, and all of the lovely individuals I follow in the style blogging world seem to be posting looks that they deem their ideal festival outfit, so I guess this is one of mine.. if not merely an ideal summer outfit. The shirt I am wearing in this post has been featured on the blog before, but since its first appearance I have modified it quite a bit to suit my taste and flatter my figure a bit more. I purchased it at Goodwill several months ago, and it was originally an over-sized tee that really only looked flattering with leggings or super skinny jeans. And anyway, I have enough over-sized tees in my wardrobe so I knew I wouldn't miss the original "design" of this one. Since warm summer days are (hopefully) around the corner, I decided to transform it into a cropped muscle tee. I cut off the sleeves and cut a chunk off of the bottom as well. I also took some leftover pieces from the shirt and used them to tie little knots on either side where I cut the sleeves. Lastly, I shredded the tee in a few little areas to give it a bit more of an edge (I know you are all well aware of my love for edginess in an outfit haha).
Obviously I am still quite obsessed with my pink iridescent creepers I keep managing to worm into my posts as of late, but can you blame me? The colors in this outfit pair so purrrfectly with said creepers, that trying to wear any other shoe would be kind of silly. I mean, I bought them for a reason. ;) Also, that is a temporary tattoo I'm sporting in the third photo from the last (in case you couldn't tell because obviously it looks so real! Ahahaha kiiiidddinnng). I got a bunch of My Little Pony temporary tattoos while out with my husband last week at our favorite game store, and I decided to revert back to six year old me and sport one today. (That's Fluttershy, by the way. She's my favorite pony. :D)
Okay, okay. I've rambled enough, I'm sorry. It's just that I truly enjoy the writing aspect of blogging in addition to the photo taking. I feel more connected to all of you in that way. Speaking of all of you, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much for reading and laughing with me. You're all so beautiful and amazing.
So much love to everyone of you, as always. =^.^=
