Heart of Chambers.

Hellooo everybody! Betcha didn't think you were gonna hear from me so soon, eh?  Haha me either :P.  But!  I really wanted to do a Spring appropriate post what with the first day of Spring being all of yesterday.  Plus, since I have this new camera and everything, I felt like I could use the extra practice in order to learn how to operate it more efficiently/effectively.  Okayy moving along...

I went out to brunch with my husband this morning totally NOT dressed for the weather.  It was pretty warm and I was decked out in tights, flannel, and a beanie.  I immediately regretted my outfit decision once we rode our bikes to the restaurant, especially after seeing everyone else dressed in shorts or a sundress or some other such Spring-like attire.  Needless to say when I got home I immediately put on the dress seen above, and was then inspired to do another blog post hehe.  Unfortunately this dress is not a thrifted or second-hand item.  The other day I was shopping for work clothes and found it at Forever 21.  I'm pretty much in love.  It's super comfortable and flattering and allows for so much movement.  It is definitely one of my favorite Spring/Summer purchases thus far.

For this post, I thought my cut-out chunky ankle boots and pork pie hat would pair nicely with the dress.  Everything put together kind of gives off a sense of 90's nostalgia that folks have been all kinds of crazy about for awhile now (honestly I've always dressed like this, and probably always will).  I threw in the purse at the last minute because I thought the outfit needed a little more texture, you know.. something a little different and off-setting to add more flare.  I really love how the entire look came together.

Anyway, that is all for now my friends!  I hope you're having a lovely weekend wherever you are.  Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by.. stay tuned for more!

Love to you all. =^.^=
