Spring is almost here, the days are getting longer, and happy 100th post to me. Lots to celebrate! :) For my 100th entry I decided to put together my classic, favorite pieces to pay homage to my everyday aesthetic: denim, creepers, and more denim. I don't know that I've ever worn this vintage Converse tee on the blog.. it was originally my husband's from when he was a teenager back in the late 90's, and I have since adopted it as my own. There is nothing more comfortable than a worn in vintage tee, stretchy jeans, and an over-sized denim jacket, and this combination is no exception. And of course I wouldn't be true to myself or my blog (or to you guys, for that matter), if I wasn't wearing mostly vintage pieces for my 100th post. :)
Looking back on old entries is always a tricky endeavor because I am never sure if I should criticize or compliment myself.. there is always a fine line between what is or could be better. But in the amount of time I have been on this earth, leading up to this very moment, I have learned that the best thing any of us can do when visiting the past is to celebrate who you are now, because of it. The most exciting, comforting truth in life is change.. and with change we are met with new beginnings, strength of character, creative growth, and self improvement. It's exciting.. encouraging? Seeing how far you've come and how far you can go.. the possibilities are bountiful, and the most important aspect in any journey is to never give up.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me from the very beginning, joined me along the way, or are simply here visiting my blog for the first time. You guys mean the world to me.
Forever and always, love to you all. =^.^=
