Here I am yet again wearing another plaid and denim combo.  This fearsome duo seems to be my favorite combination as of late as it is such an easy way to throw a comfy look together while adding some texture and definition.  As usual most of the pieces I am wearing here are thrifted/old from my closet, and finding new ways to wear pieces that I've owned for quite awhile has become my favorite challenge in styling an outfit.

Lately I have been a tad obsessed with my little black pointed toe ankle boots.  I know the ongoing trend in street style right now seems to be platform anything, and while I do love a good platform shoe (my T.U.K. Nosebleed boots seen in previous posts are no exception), I've been wanting to steer my style in a more practical direction for the everyday.  As many of you know, I ride my bike everywhere (I do not own a car so my bicycle is my vehicle of transportation), and these little booties allow me to do so while maintaining a sense of my personal expression. :)

Also, I wanted to let you guys know that I have collaborated with an amazing independent, vegan and cruelty free hair dye company based out of Portland, Oregon called Lunar Tides.  They recently sent me a couple of dyes (of my choosing) to try out and share with all of you, along with a coupon code: "Susanna", that you can use for 10% off of your purchase if you fancy yourself some mermaid hair!  In this post my hair color is in their shade "Amethyst", which is very similar to the shades I have been using in my hair lately to achieve its lavender hue that I have grown to love.  I must admit that I am quite pleased with their product thus far.  One jar of color seems to saturate my hair so perfectly that it makes application super easy.. and the dyes smell absolutely wonderful!  In past experiences I have used dyes that have had a harsh, almost offensive scent to them that often irritate my scalp along with also having to use several jars/bottles of dye even to achieve a very light pastel shade.  BUT! This is not the case with Lunar Tides.  Their product is a breath of fresh air.. and dye.. and I am a fan for life.  Support independent, ethical and sustainable businesses by checking them out:

And that's it for today!  I will be taking next weekend off from posting over here on the blog as I will be out of town, but I am still/as always very active on my Instagram, and I should be back to regular posting in a couple of weeks.

Thanks so much for reading! Love to you all. =^.^=

**P.S. For any who might inquire, it started raining during this shoot hence the reason for the differing shades in the background of some of the pictures.**

    1. Thank you Krissia.. you are the best. Your support means the world to me. I'm glad you love the hair color (even though it's not much different than what I usually do haha).. but I will be going back to blue again for a little while after this fades out (and after I visit my parents this weekend because they don't like it when my hair is blue hahaha). I hope you are having a good week my dear. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your sweet comments. <333
