Vintage Autumn.

Hat: Vintage, similar here
Blouse: Thrifted
Sweater: Thrifted
Trousers: Thrifted
Boots: Vintage, Dr. Martens
Bag: Similar here

Looks like I was lying in my last post when I said I'm not a pants person haha.  I guess with every rule there seems to be an exception, and a great pair of trousers is definitely mine.  I had actually been on the hunt for a pair of slouchy, slightly over-sized trousers to pair with cropped blouses and band tees, and I found these cuties one day while I was perusing Goodwill with my husband.  That day we actually went to a couple of thrift stores where I also found the blouse and sweater seen above... it was a lucky excursion, no doubt!  Needless to say I am super ecstatic that almost every single piece in this post is thrifted and/or vintage.  The outfit actually came together on a whim one afternoon.. I think I was sort of accidentally on purpose channeling a newsboy circa 1899 hahaha. I did not intentionally purchase any of the articles of clothing mentioned above with the thought of pairing it with the other.. and I think that's the coolest part!  The most satisfying outcome of being an avid thrifter is choosing classically versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched with almost anything. :D

And there's more where that came from! I made out like a bandit on the day we went thrifting and have other pieces to share with you save for a future post.  In the meantime I hope you enjoyed this one!  It's finally feeling like real, honest to goodness Autumn here in the Bay Area so I tried to choose a setting for the photos that reflected the season.  :)

I hope you have a beautiful week, and for my readers in the states, a very happy Thanksgiving.

Love to you all. =^.^=
