Dress: Marshalls, similar here and here
Backpack: Forever 21
D.I.Y. metal clasp knee-socks: My good friend Siobhan =^.^=

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a lovely weekend. :)

As you can see, I finally did it!  Haha I ventured out of my comfort zone that is the rooftop of my apartment building and actually went into the real world and snapped some photos in my neighborhood.  At first I was kinda scared because it's just me, my camera and tripod in these fancy shmancy clothes and I was afraid I would get hassled or whatever.. you know.  Luckily in my neighborhood there are a ton of old warehouses that run as businesses Monday through Friday, but on the weekend everything is pretty much a ghost town so I was free to snap and go as I please (hah!)  But yeah, I am so SO glad I decided to do this.  The pictures came out super clear and crisp and the lighting was so much easier to manipulate what with not being way up high, right underneath the sun haha.  See what happens when you let go of your fears? Beautiful things await. :D

Anyway, what with Halloween approaching I am getting into the spirit of things and feeling a little darker with my style.  I've had this red velvet dress for almost a year now but it is a piece I am still absolutely in love with.  I wear it any time of year but when Fall rolls around I get the urge to wear it even more.   Speaking of Fall, the weather is finally turning a bit cooler and a little more grey and I couldn't be happier.  It's always so much fun to shoot photos during this season. Yayyy.

Back to the outfit! I decided to wear my fishnets for this post but to step up the edginess a bit more I added a pair of knee-socks that my dear friend Siobhan made and gifted to me.  Shout out to her!  She is absolutely amazing.. I could never be that crafty so I'm grateful to have a beautiful friend that can craft beautiful things to make up for my lack of talent. Haha. Aaaand naturally the rest of the outfit speaks for itself.  Just wearing my favorite accessories as usual, nothing new (oh, except for the little backpack.. that's new and I'm obsessed with it.. hehe).

And this is where I will let my rambling come to a halt.  I hope you enjoyed this post!  I actually had a lot of fun shooting in a different spot today and I plan to make this a regular habit, so stay tuned.

Love to you all. =^.^=
