Golden Haze.

Hello lovely readers!  I hope the weekend is treating you well.  :D Looks like I'm back to my usual, happy self again, as I'm actually kinda sorta smiling in some of these pictures haha.

I've had this kimono in my wardrobe for over a year, and it has definitely been a challenge to style since day one.  The pattern is a doozy haha so it makes it difficult to figure out how to layer it and what colors and textures might fit best.  While I normally wear a black lace top or cami underneath, I decided to be a little more adventurous and wear my cropped lavender lace camisole instead for an extra pop of color.  I've had this camisol for years... my Mom bought it for me as a "just because I Love you" gift some time ago (my Mom is the sweetest) and I absolutely adore it.  I also wanted to do a post featuring this kimono because it is festival season right now and all the ladies seem to be blogging or youtubing their "ideal" festival outfits.  And whaddayaknow?  Kimonos are yet again all the rage.  However I don't really consider myself a fan of some of the popular ways kimonos are styled for festival attire, as they tend to be a bit more boho/hippie love child/witch goddess (which is totally awesome, don't get me wrong!) while my style is is more grungy/punky/rock &rolly. :)  At last I decided to pair it with my ever so trusty and faithful doc martens, black knee socks, my studded pink belt I always wear as a bracelet, and my cranberry beret (although it looks black in these photos.. oh well). Ta-da!  I feel like the combination of everything in this look suits me perfectly and upholds the integrity of my style.  What are some trends that you are seeing out there that you have been apprehensive to incorporate into your wardrobe but are willing to try? I would love to know!

And that's it for today.  Thank you so much for reading. You guys are amazing.

Love to you all.  =^.^=
