Dreams So Real.

Dress: Thrifted, H&M
Hat: Berkeley Hat Co. similar here
Boots: Ebay

I officially love shooting photos on overcast, cloudy days.  They always come out absolutely stunning.  No annoying shadowing, no weird lighting, and the colors and patterns in my outfits always pop.

Speaking of pop, THIS DRESS.  How amazing is it, I mean really?  It's H&M but I found it while out on a thrifting excursion with one of my favorite girlfriends last weekend.  We were at our last thrift store of the day and sadly I had yet to find anything.  I was scouring the last rack in the store when all of a sudden it practically jumped out at me and screamed my name.  My friend urged me to try it on and when I did, I knew I had to have it (for 6 dollars I would be foolish not to snatch it up).  Also, the rosary you see in the photos above was another incredible find on that same day.  While we were in line to make our purchases, my friend spotted it in a glass case at the register.  She then immediately informed me of its existence, and I then immediately had to have it.  It is SO gorgeous and intricate and the detailing and beading is absolutely beautiful.  I am a sucker for rosaries but am also very particular about their design, because some can be really tacky and cheap looking... but hurray! This one is definitely not.  I also love how perfectly it goes with this dress.  I did go a little heavy on the accessories for this post because the dress is so incredibly feminine that I wanted to balance it out with some contrasting pieces to give the look a bit more of a grown up, edgy vibe.  And honestly I don't think this outfit would be complete without my hat soooo... that's why it is making another appearance yet again. I'm a hat girl, okay?  I would wear a hat every single day if I could. And why can't I?  They make me happy.  And happiness is key, right?  Right. :P

Oh yeah!  I also switched up my lip color here since I always seem to wear the same shade of pink in almost every post of mine.  I actually made this shade by mixing two colors from my Nyx "Dusk til Dawn" eyeshadow pallete with a super pale pink lip gloss by N.Y.C to help blend the shades together.  It's a perfect shade for Fall, which is right around the corner.  I don't know how I feel about darker lip shades on myself as they tend to be a bit harsh on me, but it's fun to switch it up every now and then. If anything I simply love giving suggestions and advice on how to make your own stuff with products you already own without having to go out and buy something new.

Yikes, this is a long one.  Sorry!  I'll end it here.  Thanks so much for reading and have a lovely weekend!

Love to you all. =^.^=
