Room Tour featuring Entityy Magazine.

I was recently contacted by Entityy Magazine, an arts, culture & lifestyle periodical, and they wanted to send me a copy of their newest issue for review and to be featured on my blog as well as my other social media sites.  While at first I could not quite figure out how to properly incorporate this beautiful magazine within my blog considering my posts mainly consist of outfits featuring my personal style, I decided to branch out of my comfort zone and do something a little bit different for a change.

It came to me that perhaps doing a "room tour" and incorporating images of the magazine throughout my post would be a perfect way to showcase my love for Entityy.  I also thought it would be cool to show ya'll how I maximize small spaces through smart decorating and crafty space planning.  My husband and I live in a tiny one bedroom in probably one of the most sought out neighborhoods in the Bay Area, and I have to admit, making the place our own has been a challenge considering we really don't have a ton of space to work with.  Also, my parents recently handed down to us the bed seen in the photos below, and while it is a gorgeous piece of furniture, it is also almost the size of our bedroom.  That being said decorating around the bed has definitely been a challenge, but well worth the outcome in the end.

Bits and pieces of who I am.

"A periodical is defined as a magazine or other journal that is issued at regular recurring intervals.  As each issue passes us, we are given the chance to begin anew, declare something different, and find a new creative spark that we believe will speak to others.  It is the cycle of creation that keeps Entityy Magazine alive..."

This freestanding wardrobe has proven to be a godsend for our lack of closet space, and while the picture does not show it, there is plenty of walking space between the bed and the wardrobe.

Tiny treasures.

One of my favorite articles in this issue is called "The Feeling Of Style" and one of my favorite excerpts from said article is as follows: 'That t-shirt sits just-so on my shoulders.  It skims the hips, embraces little more than my identity, and makes me feel entirely who I am - powerful, rock'n'roll today, ready to take on the world.  These joggers came from a place local to me, a store where no one looked askance at my body as I thumbed the racks.  And they go perfectly with these lace-ups that I found.  Today I get to badass the world.  Exactly my way.'

Precisely on point.  I love days when I get to badass the world, simply by feeling awesome in my own skin.  :)

Ball caps and flannels, and a studded belt with character. ;) Something you may not know about me is that my husband and I are huge baseball fans, more specifically Oakland A's fans.  But you can't tell from this photo or anything.  :P
(P.S. This hat rack is a life saver, but I think it's almost time for a bigger one haha)

The foot of our bed provides perfect space for bike storage.  And of course, my bedroom wouldn't be complete without a kitty to enchant it.

I hope you enjoyed this post.  I admit I am kind of excited to do more posts like this in order to switch it up every now and then and keep things fresh.  I was thrilled when Entityy approached me for collaboration, and I would never accept to showcase anything on my blog that I wasn't completely in love with.  Entityy is an absolutely stunning and intelligent periodical filled with everything from art, literature, fashion, culture and lifestyle, and I will definitely be a returning reader.  You can pick up your copy of Issue #3 at Barnes and Noble or online at entityy.com.

Thanks so much for reading!  Love to you all.  =^.^=
