Urban Wonderland.

Hello everyone!  I really wanted to do a blog post today as I had a bunch of free time on my hands, so here's a Thursday post for ya.  I'm trying to figure out the best times to post on the regular, so forgive me if I am somewhat inconsistent lately, as I'm still kinda working out the kinks here and there.

Anyway, the weather has changed to chilly again so I've been playing around with layers in my wardrobe.  I wear shorts and tights as my signature look all year round (obviously), so when the weather turns cold I usually wear two pairs of tights as well as socks.  For this post I decided to wear my ripped purple tights over a pair of black ones for some playful texture and color. Again, most everything in this post is thrifted or was purchased at a discount shop (yay!).  The shirt I'm wearing is actually my husband's shirt (I always steal it because it's amazing).  It is a screen print of a movie poster from Italian director Lucio Fulci's film "The Beyond" (zombieeees!) and it's my favorite shirt to steal from him. :)  I decided to tie it up to give my body some shape and wear it under my plaid button up to demonstrate how different prints and layers can come together to form an entire outfit.

As far as my hair, it has had a mind of it's own this week, so I decided to throw on my pork pie hat for this post in order to keep it (somewhat) under control haha.  I'm also trying to figure out exactly what I want to do with my bangs so pardon the messiness of them at the moment! Aaand I need to color my hair again too but I'm kind of digging the platinum right now (I go through this phase every couple of months :P).  Whatever, I'm sure I'll be back to lavender in a few days.

That's all for now.  I may or may not be posting this weekend, depending on how inspired or uninspired I am haha.  Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my little corner of the world, it really does mean everything to me!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Love to you all. =^.^=
