Cherub Rock.

(Sorry for the squinty angry face.  It was really bright up there on the rooftop!)

Hey everyone!  As promised, here's another Saturday blog post for you, and I am very happy to say that almost all of the items featured in this post are thrifted!  Hurray!

The flannel (yes, it's actually a flannel), tie-dye shirt, shorts and messenger style bag are all items that I purchased from Goodwill last weekend.  Actually, as per usual, the shorts were originally men's jeans, and made an absolutely perfect pair of high waisted shorts once I got home and took the scissors to them.  ;)  The trip to Goodwill last weekend was a long one.  I spent almost two hours in the store, scouring every corner possible.  Thrifting is quite the tricky endeavor.  I probably had about 30 items in my hands before settling on the gems featured above.  And what's funny is while I was standing in line to pay, I spotted the flannel hanging in the men's shirts section.  It's like it was calling my name haha.  The boots I purchased on ebay last week (thanks Mom for helping me choose the perfect pair!).  I had been wanting a pair of chunky platform boots for awhile now (gotta take a break from my creepers sometime :P) and ebay was my most  affordable bet.  Score!  Not only are they adorable, but they are oh so comfortable as well.

Anyway, all week I had been dreaming up different ways to wear each piece, and the ensemble in this post is definitely the winner.  It makes me feel kind of nostalgic because it reminds me of an outfit that I probably would have drooled over when I was a kid in the 90's (the hair definitely helps with the whole nostalgic thing too hehe).  I love how "California" it is, especially with this crazy nice weather we've been having lately, and although the nights cool down quite a bit, the opaque tights and flannel with a light jacket are enough to keep me warm.  That's a Bay Area winter for ya.  :)

That's all for now!  Like I said, I will most likely be posting every Saturday, but don't be surprised if I sprinkle in a couple of surprise posts every so often.  I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend.  Be safe and happy!

Love to you all =^.^=
